It’s been too long coming, but RewardBet is finally back!
We enjoyed a live trial run several years back in Australia where our patented RewardBet system successfully integrated with Luxbet, Tabcorp and a couple of other operators. During that time, more than 2,000 users experienced – and for the most part loved – RewardBet. And those users were almost exclusively aquired via word of mouth.
Vibe Execs
The live trial saw more than 6,000,000 bets placed via RewardBet directly through each operator’s API.
So what happened? Well during the proof of concept phase RewardBet was running as a web application. Not as a bookmaker, but essentially getting markets and odds, managing selections, taking user input and sending it back to the operators. (There’s more, but you get the gist). But despite operators seeing revenue and profit growth, and users loving it, we didn’t have the right commercial arrangements in place to thrive.
What Has Changed?
In some ways, nothing. In others, everything. RewardBet still does the same things it did, in the same manner both users and operators loved. But we focused on the fact that it’s a WAY better fit for operators to integrate into their own stack, rather than sit outside it. Remember that low cost user aquisition I mentioned? That’s way more valuable for operators than us, and RewardBet can look and feel just like your existing interface.
We have created a RewardBet API, knowing that many clients won’t use it in production, but that it makes for a far easier PoC process. There’s been a management revamp that’s delivered additional business expertise to the original team (who all remain involved). And there has been a renewed strategic focus on who our likely clients are, and what they need from us here at RewardBet.
